Selombra means ‘shadow’ in Mirandese, a language spoken in northeastern Portugal. To us, it evokes the quieter qualities that give a room its soul: the play of light and shade, a sense of shelter, and the details you come to notice over time. It is this balance of atmosphere and purpose that guides our work.
